My Reflection.

I decided to go with super-powers as my subject, since a lot of people actually do think of wanting to having super powers, but it isn’t a topic that people generally talk about and most of time only fantasize about it. I think it is interesting to see what people would do and want to do with it. I made several attempts to making a map, but couldn’t really form one that suited from what I wanted. So, to help me shape my map I decided to make a small survey of 13 questions.

Since I am doing this social practice alone, I didn’t have anybody to help me or talk about my ideas that made it a lot harder to give shape to them. Going beyond the practice I talked with some friends and families and it helped me to have some insight and I made this super-power theme that talks about what people want to look like and be like. Something that corresponds well with the theme “body. I decided to make a character of each description and make a city like map, since heroes are mostly pictured in cities.

Looking back at this practice, I was hoping to collaborate in a team and work on something then doing it alone. It is already harder than normal in the whole quarantine thing going on at the moment. None of the topics in the original description really took me and are probably not the best topics for me to talk about.
